Seagrape Plantation Resort and Dive Center recently hosted a spooktacular Halloween Dive to raise funds for the Roatan Marine Park. Divers donned their most creative costumes and took to the water for a unique and unforgettable experience.
From a fearsome Aquaman to a graceful eagle ray, the underwater world was filled with a variety of imaginative characters. The most challenging costume to dive in was undoubtedly the angel fish, with its delicate wings and halo. Despite the added difficulty, the diver managed to navigate the underwater currents with grace and style.
During the dive, participants encountered a variety of marine life, including a curious puffer fish and two adorable sea turtles. Other dive groups were left scratching their heads as they encountered divers dressed as everything from superheroes to sea creatures.
After the dive, everyone gathered at Sundowners Bar to announce the winners of the costume contest. The angel fish took first place, followed by the energizer bunny in second, and the eagle ray in third.
A Win-Win for Fun and Conservation
In addition to raising spirits and laughs, the event also raised funds to support the vital work of the Roatan Marine Park. By participating in this fun and festive event, divers were able to contribute to the conservation of Roatan’s beautiful marine ecosystem.
Seagrape Plantation would like to extend a huge thank you to the Roatan Marine Park for their support in making this event possible. We also want to express our gratitude to the Hangover Hut for donating a $25 gift card as one of the prizes and to Sundowners for providing the perfect after-party venue.
